In 2006, Roy Spinks became a founding partner of Whitaker, Spinks & Koslovsky, LLP and has been a guiding force in its growth.
Roy was born and raised in Joaquin, Texas where he graduated high school. He came to Waco to attend Baylor University, where he received his degree in accounting. Prior to joining WSK, Roy was employed at Price Waterhouse in Houston and later worked with a local firm in Waco. He has extensive knowledge in the real estate, construction and manufacturing industries, as well as professional service entities.
Over the years Roy has been active in the community and served on a variety of Boards. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Texas Society of CPA’s and the American Institute of CPA’s.
Roy and his wife, Shelly, live in McGregor with their daughter Caroline and son Wyatt. He is an avid Baylor fan and hosts a tailgate site before each home football game.
